- Suno Studio Editor Update: Clip Settings Moved to Sidebar, Imported Audio Auto-Aligns to Tempo, Pitch Adjustable in Cents
Suno Update Notes (10 29, pushed on X on 11 2): Improvements to Suno Studio based on user feedback. Clip settings (volume, pitch, loop, reverse, time stretch) have been moved from a too-small pop-up to a sidebar on the left of the waveform, opened by double-clicking a clip; lyrics, style tags, and stems have been moved to a new Clip Info panel. New setting: Audio added from the library or uploaded can be automatically time-stretched to the project tempo (clips with unstable timing and groups of stems uploaded simultaneously retain their original timing, generated clips are unaffected). Pitch can be fine-tuned in semitones plus cents (entering 2.38 equals 2 semitones 38 cents). Use Shift-H to hide tracks and Shift-Alt-H to restore them; right-click the top ruler to adjust grid density and contrast.
- Runway Agent New Capabilities: Can Open Files, Run Code, and Create Brand Launch Assets, Product Images, Ad Variants, and Motion Graphics Based on Reference Materials
Runway 10 30 announced new capabilities for Runway Agent on X: The Agent no longer just generates content; it can also open files and run code. It can create complete sets of launch assets for brands, generate product images and ad variants, and produce motion graphics based on reference materials. The entry point is the Agent within the Runway web app (app.runway.com/agent).
- Runway Dev Plugin Launches on Cursor: Install One Plugin to Let Coding Agents Integrate Runway Video/Image/Audio APIs into Your Apps
Runway announced on 11 2 that Runway is now available on Cursor: install a plugin, and Cursor can integrate Runway's APIs into your applications for you. The "For Agents" page on the Runway Dev website explains: each plugin bundles Runway Dev MCP and Runway Dev skills. MCP allows coding agents to read the models available to projects in your account, the price of each model, and acceptable inputs, and to directly create and configure Model Router (e.g., optimizing for latency, capping maximum cost per video) and manage real-time digital humans (Characters); skills teach agents how to write integrations and troubleshoot errors using the official SDK and Runway's recommended methods. In addition to Cursor, the page also lists installation entry points for Codex, Claude Code, and Grok Bot.
- Other new Copilot features from GitHub Universe: Cross-platform cloud sessions (sandbox billing starts in 11), Copilot Projects, Memory GA and Dreaming
GitHub 11 posted a summary of Copilot releases from Universe (2 10) on X on 28, with each item sourced from GitHub's official changelog: The Copilot cloud experience is now generally available—initiate cloud tasks from github.com, GitHub Mobile, Copilot CLI, the Copilot app, VS Code, or Slack/Teams, and continue them seamlessly in another location within the same session; by default, tasks run in a GitHub-hosted cloud sandbox, with snapshots saved upon shutdown to allow resumption. Copilot Projects (public preview) consolidates work across multiple repositories, design files, and Slack discussions into a single project, where Copilot spawns multiple agents in the background as needed and returns pull requests; the Copilot app also adds computer use (public preview for macOS/Windows), image generation and editing within conversations, and security extensions. Copilot Memory is now generally available, while Dreaming (public preview, requires manual enablement) reviews past sessions to add or remove personal and repository memories, proposing changes to skill and instruction files via pull requests.
