Reasons

  • 10-30 was not included previously because access required joining a QQ group to obtain the beta package, and the code was not open source; now the source code is in the repository (Flutter UI + Kotlin platform implementation + runtime packaging scripts), released under AGPL-3.0, with sdk/ and examples/ under MIT, APKs available on GitHub Releases, and the version number in the source code is 1.0.4.
  • Features: Interrupt replies mid-stream, send queued messages immediately; one-click switch to the official web version while staying in the same conversation; conversations can generate end-to-end encrypted replay links; landscape and tablet layouts are redesigned; the repository includes a native plugin SDK, tutorials, and examples.
  • Compared to the similar DSH-Android: This uses PRoot to launch an Ubuntu environment, supports Android 8 and above, and can connect to remote hosts; local execution requires approximately 1 GB of reserved space; phone control is only available for the local engine.

Usage

  • Download the arm64 APK from GitHub Releases or go.dshtui.com (use the x86_64 package for emulators); on first launch, choose "Install runtime environment locally" or "Connect to remote host," then configure the model and credentials.
  • If you previously installed an early test package with a different signature, uninstall the old version first (this will clear conversations, the Linux environment, and settings); to build it yourself, follow the README to run tooling/setup-toolchain.sh and build-apk.sh on Linux x86_64, leaving DSH_BETA_TOKEN_FILE empty.

Risks

  • "Send anonymous usage statistics" is enabled by default (at most once per day, including app and system versions, phone brand, and usage counts for each feature); this can be disabled in Settings → Privacy & Sharing; with phone control enabled, screen text and screenshots may be sent to the model.
  • DSH Remote mode only supports image attachments, and plugin management is limited to toggling on/off; Do Not Disturb mode requires Android 14 or higher plus Shizuku or a self-connected ADB; the name, identifier, and mascot are not covered by the open-source license; this is a community project, and the README states it is unrelated to official DeepSeek.
