Hand an idle Android phone to an agent persona based on the community whale-girl "Big Fat Fish": AutoX.js controls the phone via accessibility and floating windows, the DeepSeek API handles persona, decision-making, and chat, ntfy serves as the remote messaging channel, and there is also a native chat app and a boot launcher. Every 10–20 minutes, it decides for itself what to do (write a diary, browse notes, check the weather, watch videos). It has local file memory (long-term facts, daily conversations, daily reviews), and you chat with it from your own phone via ntfy.
Stars 29
Reasons
- 10-29 created the repository; this is the first inclusion in this column; 1.1.0 added 8 short-term memory entries, contextual image understanding, automatic QQ notification replies, Bilibili mode (actually plays videos and writes viewing diaries, without liking, commenting, or coin-throwing), a meme library, automatic screen-off after task completion, and image uploads in the chat app compared to 1.0.0.
- Security boundaries are specifically defined: no SIM card, no payments or handling of verification codes, no opening of banking or payment apps, human confirmation required for app installations, and on-screen text treated as untrusted input; casual chat uses deepseek-flash with thinking disabled and length limits, while common greetings use fixed replies to save tokens.
- The README completely lists ROM compatibility and known limitations (for example, the three reasons why personal WeChat cannot be automatically replied to purely on a phone).
Usage
- Prepare a dedicated Android 8+ arm64 phone: first install AutoX.js 6.6.8 (included in the 1.1.0 Release), enable accessibility, floating windows, unlimited battery, and auto-start, then install in the order AutoX → DafeiyuChat → DafeiyuBoot.
- Place the scripts from autox/ into /sdcard/PhoneAgent/, run agent.js in AutoX, fill in the DeepSeek API Key, Base URL https://api.deepseek.com/v1、模型 deepseek-flash; enter the auto-generated topic into the chat app to chat remotely.
Risks
- The author recommends using a dedicated phone that does not log into your main WeChat, main payment accounts, or main email: the agent can delete files under /sdcard, and both automatic QQ replies and simulated Bilibili browsing carry account risk control risks, suitable only for secondary accounts; ntfy uses public servers and messages are not end-to-end encrypted, so a leaked topic means others can converse with it.
- Verified only on one Redmi K60 (HyperOS); background restrictions on other ROMs may affect stability; the APK uses a debug signature, and assets such as character art have their own respective licenses.
