An out-of-the-box open-source AI agent client: integrates Claude Code, Codex, and Pi into a single interface, allowing you to continue the same session across your computer and phone, with remote control of your computer from your phone.

Reasons
- Authorize your existing paid Claude Code / Codex subscriptions, or use your own API keys, local models, or Cindy's hosted model services
- Cross-device: open the same session on another device, access its files, and borrow model services configured on another computer; the author notes that project files remain on the original machine and are not fully synced
- Enable multiple agents to handle planning, parallel implementation, and independent review separately; supports automated scheduled tasks, Slack / Telegram integration, as well as Skills, plugins, and MCP
Usage
- Download the desktop or mobile client from cindy.app/download (macOS / Windows / Linux / iOS / Android); for Linux, see docs/linux.md in the repository
- On the login page, you can choose "Skip Sign-In" to use only local agents, but features requiring a server (remote devices, cloud companions, etc.) will be unavailable
Risks
- The repository contains only the desktop and mobile clients (Apache-2.0); the backend service is not open-source; the client connects to Cindy's official cloud service by default
- The official distribution includes built-in TapDB usage statistics, which are linked to your account ID after login; the author states that chat and file contents are not collected
- The client is free, but model and service fees are still charged as usual
