Claude Code / Codex Plugin: Enables agents to read your codebase and generate a zoomable, interactive map where each module, file, and interface is accompanied by a plain-language explanation and marked with its interdependencies. Even when the frontend and backend reside in separate repositories, it can match frontend requests to the corresponding backend endpoints.

Reasons
- Designed for those who "built a working app with AI but can't explain how it works": Start from a single page to trace the underlying components, requests, server-side code, data, and external services. You can also ask questions directly on the map, such as "How do refunds get back to the customer's card?", receiving an answer and a focused sub-map containing only the relevant parts.
- The health check feature specifically targets common errors in AI-generated apps: secrets hardcoded in code or exposed to the browser, publicly readable Supabase tables, open Firebase rules, forgeable Stripe webhooks, and unauthenticated endpoints. Each issue includes a copy-pasteable fix. The "Recent Changes" view highlights cards modified by the agent in green and explains why.
- Scanning, parsing, request matching, and layout are handled by dependency-free Node scripts, while module naming and descriptions are delegated to Claude / Codex. Updates only re-read changed sections. If no code exists yet, you can generate a "blueprint" marked with dashed lines from a PRD.
Usage
- Requires Node.js 18+. For Claude Code: run
claude plugin marketplace add haydenschmitty/floorplan, thenclaude plugin install floorplan@floorplan. For Codex: runcodex plugin marketplace add haydenschmitty/floorplan, thencodex plugin add floorplan@floorplan. - In your project, say "Make me a floorplan of this app" (or type
$floorplanin Codex). The map is generated atfloorplan/index.htmland opens automatically. After modifying code, say "Update the floorplan". You can export it as a single HTML file to share with others. - The author provides an online demo of the Brewline sample app, allowing you to explore it interactively without installation.
Risks
- The author explicitly states that the health check is a check, not an audit. There is a support list for languages and frameworks (TS/JS, Python, Go, Rust, Java, etc.; Express, FastAPI, Next.js, Spring, etc.), with shallower support for items outside this list.
- The map is generated using your own Claude / Codex quota; no additional API Key is required. Version 0.6.0, MIT License, repository created on 10 27.
