Another community project that runs DSH on Android phones, leaning more towards a "phone agent": the engine is embedded directly in the App process, allowing DSH to operate apps, organize files, change system settings, or automatically execute tasks based on time and conditions for you.

Reasons
- Difference from DSH Go: Compiles Node 24 into an Android native library, launched via JNI in a foreground service, without needing proot or Termux; dsh runs as-is without branching, with skills, MCP, sub-agents, and web search working as usual
- Comprehensive device capabilities: Find and organize files, read text from PDF / Word / Excel / PPT; read screen, tap, and input; adjust brightness, volume, Do Not Disturb, Wi‑Fi, and Bluetooth; read and reply to notifications; trigger on schedule or when connected to Wi‑Fi, charging starts, arriving at a location, or receiving a notification
- The floating ball can be summoned in any app to send the current screen to it; with Android 14+ and Shizuku configured, it operates on a virtual screen without occupying your display; it can also remotely connect to DSH on a computer
Usage
- Download the APK from Releases (arm64, Android 10+, installation package approx. 110 MB), log in with a DeepSeek account or enter an API Key; you can also add services like OpenAI, Claude, Gemini, Kimi, Zhipu GLM, and Tongyi Qianwen under "Settings → Model Services"
- Optional: Install Shizuku with one click under "Settings → Phone Permissions", and enable "Boot Start (Wireless Debugging)" in Shizuku
Risks
- Uses Accessibility, Notification Access, SMS, and other permissions; Google Play Protect may flag it as a harmful app, and the author recommends verifying the SHA-256 in the release notes first; it cannot operate other apps when a secure lock screen is active; some domestic ROMs require manually allowing background pop-ups and auto-start
- Third-party models only support OpenAI-compatible Chat Completions interfaces, with context uniformly calculated as 128K, and web search still requires a DeepSeek Key; engine cold start takes about 5 seconds; this is a community project, unrelated to DeepSeek official, licensed under Apache-2.0, repository created on 10 27
